We - a family with three children (16, 13, 9) - stayed in Olli Tiainen's cozy house for a week in February. Even at minus 30 degrees it was warm inside. We had a wonderful time. Winter in Finland is magical. Frozen trees, glittering snow. But you need a c

Lovely compact house in a quiet location in the woods but easy to get to. Caretaker is close by and very helpful. You almost certainly need a car and proximity of trees might make spotting the northern lights from the sofa tricky, but definitely visible

We had wonderful days in a beautiful house and great location. Only with the cleanliness there is a point deduction.
